SOUTH MILWAUKEE - Passed away on June 3, 2022 at the age of 93. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Plale, grandsons Joseph and John (Jack) Plale, sister Doris De Lone, brotherin-law Richard De Lone, sister-in-law Alice Plale, and his nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Donald was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 67 years, Josephine Plale, as well as his son, Donald J. Plale, his parents Martin and Mildred Plale, and his brothers Martin (the late Mary) and Jack Plale.

Don graduated from Marquette University with a degree in electrical engineerin­g and spent a large part of his career working as an electrical engineer at Everbrite in South Milwaukee, WI. Don was active in his local community. He was a long-time member of the South Milwaukee United Methodist Church, and served up until very recently as a Commission­er on the South Milwaukee Water & Wastewater Commission. Don was a dedicated volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America, having served as District Commission­er of the Milwaukee County Council, a position he held for quite some time. In addition to being an Eagle Scout counselor, he received the highest accolades in the ranks of adult leadership - the Silver Beaver award. Through his volunteeri­ng he has touched, molded and influenced the lives of countless boys as they become men through the scouting program.

Memorial Visitation Sunday, July 10, 2022 from 1-2 PM at South Milwaukee United Methodist Church, 1327 Marshall Ave, South Milwaukee. Memorial Service at 2 PM. Private entombment Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Donald will be deeply missed by all those who survive him.
