Dorothy grew up in Neshkoro, Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee after high school to find work. She met her future husband Tony a few days after visiting Holy Hill where she prayed to meet a good man. Dorothy was a long-time member of the Christian Women’s society at St. Aloysius parish in West Allis. She loved gardening, bingo, sheepshead, 500 rummy, dancing, Wheel of Fortune and parking cars during the State Fair. She was not fond of cooking (after 65 years of it!), exercising, bouquets of flowers or her son John’s spaghetti. Dorothy was the last surviving member of that generation of the Yeska family.
