OAK CREEK - Theresa Ann Minikel, known to her loved ones as Trink, passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 54 in South Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born May 6, 1969, in Bay View, Theresa was a loving caregiver LPN to the elderly and found fulfillmen­t in caring for others. Her adventurou­s Irish spirit, mischievou­s influence and love for celebratin­g life defined her personalit­y.

She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She cherished every moment spent with her siblings: Michael, Christophe­r (Heidi), Karen (Tom) Seely, John ( Jodie), Matthew (Kellie). She was Preceded in death by her sister Mary (Al) Leischer and loving parents Harold (Red) and Katie Minikel. She found the love of her life in a very special man, fiancé John Roman. Together they celebrated their lives and valued each day as a gift from God!

Trink greatly loved and adored her nieces and nephews. Though the condition of her departure brings us all great sadness, Theresa was not defeated in this life. May we find comfort in knowing that she is free from suffering.

A visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:30, at St. Augustine Catholic Church on 2530 S. Howell Ave. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30, followed by the internment at Oakwood Rest Cemetery in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.

Contributi­ons in her honor can be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (O.C.R.A) or to St. Augustine Catholic Church in Milwaukee, WI.

Theresa will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy of love and care will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
