Coors, Miller among new drink options at Ballpark Commons

- Erik S. Hanley

Visitors to Ballpark Commons in Franklin will have an expanded list of options for drinks thanks to a new partnership.

ROC Ventures and Beer Capitol Distributing, LLC are collaborating to bring new drink options to the stadium including hard seltzers, canned cocktails, premium domestic brands like Miller, Coors, and Vizzy, plus craft beers, local beers and imports like Terrapin, Lakefront Brewery, Leinenkugel’s and Modelo, according to a news release.

The partnership is a multi-year deal and will replace Budweiser products “and the bulk of Beechwood with others within the Beer Capitol portfolio,” said Mike Zimmerman, owner and CEO of ROC Ventures. Beechwood Sales & Service is a beverage distributor located in New Berlin.

The new drink list is already rolling out at Luxe Golf, the Dog Haus, Brick Pizzeria & Ristorante and at the MOSH performance center at Ballpark Commons, located at 7044 South Ballpark Dr.

“We will launch the rest as we open for UWM and Milkmen games, events, Umbrella Bar, and the Rock Baseball Park here over the next few weeks,” he said.

Ballpark Commons is home to the Milwaukee Milkmen baseball team and is host venue for many events throughout the year including the Tacos and Tequila Festival on June 22, the Not Just A Phase Fest on June 23, and will host the second year of Enchant Christmas starting in November through the end of the year.

“I cannot think of a better way than this partnership with ROC Ventures to further expand the presence of the Beer Capitol brand within the Greater Milwaukee Area, and to directly engage with our visitors through a variety of entertaining mediums,” said Dan Graziano of Beer Capitol.

Beer Capitol, which launched in 1933, has grown under four generations of family ownership.
