ALLISON JARRETT

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, Allison Jarrett traded the azure waters off the Venezuelan coast for the steely blues of Lake Michigan when she moved to Milwaukee at the age of 12. Now she considers the city home, even though her Caribbean heritage still inspires many of her designs. “It comes out in the colors I use,” she says, referring to the playful piping and pocket squares that enliven her menswear designs. Jarrett studied fashion at Mount Mary University and participated in Fashion Week for the first time last year. “I’m excited to come back and see what everyone else has come up with this year.”
