Phoenix Model

Spitfire 30cc GP/EP

-

Constructed primarily out of balsa and plywood, the Phoenix Model Spitfire ARF is well built. The camo scheme is nicely done in UltraCote, with some of the markings already applied. The Phoenix Model Spitfire includes a set of CNC-machined mechanical retracts. A molded scale cockpit and pilot figure come installed and painted as well as the canopy. The one-piece wing includes ailerons and scale split flaps. Some of the scale features include exhaust stacks, a plastic spinner, a decal sheet, and a pair of wing guns. Also included in the kit is a painted cowl, a removable top hatch, wheel fairings, a fuel tank, main wheels and a tailwheel, and control-linkage hardware. Mounting hardware for either gas or brushless electric power is provided. Powered by a DLE 30cc gas engine, there’s plenty of power, and the narrow landing-gear stance is no problem at all. The Spitfire performs with ease all the maneuvers the full-size fighter was capable of.
