Design Awards nominations now open
In healthcare facility design, top priority goes to an environment that’s truly conducive to healing and provides maximum functionality for staff. Resource efficiency and architecture that complements a facility’s setting are also essential.
The mission of Modern Healthcare’s annual Design Awards competition is to recognize facilities that measure up to those benchmarks through excellence in design and planning.
Modern Healthcare is now accepting nominations for its 29th annual Design Awards program. The competition is open only to registered architects. All types and sizes of patient-care-related facilities are eligible, built or unbuilt. Projects can be new construction or renovations. Nominated facilities can be in the U.S., a U.S. territory or another country.
Submissions must be made electronically. No paper submissions are permitted. Visit modernhealthcare.com/designawards for detailed entry criteria and instructions on how to apply. A nonrefundable fee of $499 is required with each submission. The deadline for all nominations is June 13.
The winning facilities will be profiled in a special section of the Sept. 8 issue of Modern Healthcare and online.
