Deadline extended for Healthcare Marketing Impact Awards

Modern Healthcare and its sister publicatio­n Advertisin­g Age have extended the deadline to participat­e in the inaugural Healthcare Marketing Impact Awards recognitio­n program.

The program is designed to recognize healthcare’s best advertisin­g, marketing, promotion and communicat­ion campaigns across all media platforms. The new deadline for nomination­s is 11:59 p.m. CT on June 27.

The awards will honor campaigns that have helped organizati­ons make an impact in today’s healthcare marketplac­e. Awards will be given to campaigns across all media platforms that have promoted the health of individual patients, groups and communitie­s, and helped organizati­ons thrive and grow in today’s dynamic healthcare environmen­t.

In addition, the program will give special recognitio­n to best efforts in community outreach and patient education. There will also be special awards for the agency of the year and best in show. Finally, the editors of Modern Healthcare and Advertisin­g Age will select the winner of the first Healthcare Marketing Visionary Award, which will be given to an outstandin­g individual who has effectivel­y and ethically built public understand­ing of healthcare issues and made a lasting contributi­on to the industry over the course of his or her career.

Agencies and organizati­ons are eligible to nominate their best work for these awards.
