Dr. Frank Byrne will retire in January as president of St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, Wis.

Byrne, 62, has led St. Mary’s for 10 years. Before joining St. Mary’s, Byrne held a variety of leadership roles at Fort Wayne, Ind.-based Parkview Health. He had previously practiced pulmonary and critical-care medicine in the Fort Wayne area.

Byrne will remain on the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation board of directors.
