Dr. Kevin Churchwell

BOSTON CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL

Churchwell has been executive vice president of health affairs and COO at Boston Children’s since August 2013. The facility is one of the nation’s largest children’s hospitals and is a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. Before joining Boston Children’s, Churchwell was CEO of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del. He also served as CEO and executive director for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He previously held several other leadership roles at the hospital, including chief of staff, medical director for the Children’s Health and Injury Prevention Program and medical director for pediatric critical-care services.
