Charlene Falgout has been named chief nursing officer of LifePoint Health’s St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Ga.

Falgout was most recently CNO for St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Houston, part of Iasis Healthcare. She also was CNO at several other hospitals. Falgout previously served as a nurse manager and clinical educator at Brookwood Medical Center in Lake Charles, La.

Staci Dickerson was promoted to senior VP and CFO of San Diegobased Sharp HealthCare. She succeeds Ann Pumpian, who is retiring after 32 years with Sharp.

Dickerson has been with Sharp since 2003 as director of managedcar­e finance and VP of finance. Previously, Dickerson was a healthcare specialist at an accounting and consulting firm.

Terri Meldrum has been promoted to senior VP and general counsel of OhioHealth, based in Columbus. She replaces Earl Barnes, who took a similar position at Advocate Health Care, based in Downers Grove, Ill.

Meldrum most recently was VP and deputy general counsel at OhioHealth. She joined the system in 2002 as assistant general counsel. Previously, Meldrum worked for the law firm Taft Stettinius & Hollister in Columbus and also served in the office of the Ohio attorney general.

Matthew Modica has been named the first chief informatio­n security officer at St. Louis-based BJC HealthCare.

Modica will oversee BJC’s informatio­n security management program and will be responsibl­e for the strategic direction, planning and implementa­tion of defenses against data security breaches.

He was previously VP of global client security at Equifax, a consumer credit reporting company. Previously he held leadership roles at Express Scripts and Edward Jones Investment­s.
