Evil will never triumph over compassion of the human spirit

Regarding Modern Healthcare’s coverage last week of the mass shooting in Las Vegas (ModernHealthcare.com, Oct. 2), the members of our clients who have come forward to donate blood has been overwhelming and encouraging, and may we all always look for that good in the world in terms of how so many caring and compassionate people respond in this manner when unfathomable events and great tragedy occurs.

It is in this goodwill and resiliency that evil will realize that it will never defeat the good that is the human spirit. The positive spirit and intent of others to help will always stamp down depravity.
