RESPONSIBLE LEADERSHIP REMOVES BARRIERS
“It is the right and obligation of every eligible person in this country to vote to ensure our democratic system works and our government continues to be a government of the people, by the people and for the people. By voting we hold our democracy together—and keep it accountable—by fulfilling our role in this long-standing but still fragile experiment in representative democracy. It only works because we vote.”
Greg A. Adams, Chairman and CEO
Every year millions of Americans are unable to vote because they miss a registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. Kaiser Permanente is committed to ensuring every eligible American is registered to vote and as such partnered with National Voter Registration Day to promote voting and civic engagement among their more than 12.4 million members, 217,000 employees and 23,000 physicians. In addition to raising awareness about voter registration, Kaiser Permanente is committed to amplifying voter safety information and encourages voters to avoid lines and crowds whenever possible, and exercise COVID-19 precautions if they choose to vote in person.
