Two more men were arrested Friday in connection to the April murder at an off- campus apartment on mt. Pleasant’s south side.

The two, the fourth and fifth arrests made in the case, were arrested Friday and are lodged in the Isabella County Jail. Their names are being withheld pending their arraignment.

The other three are in themiddle of their preliminary examination, the first day of which took place earlier this month. The second, and last day, is currently scheduled to take place Oct. 6.

Miykael Norfleat, Justin Collins and Robert Jamison are charged with open murder, first- degree home invasion and felony firearm in the murder of Raven Tre-von Edelen, which occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on April 20. Norfleat, a 20-year- old Chicago man, was additionally charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

Norfleat is accused of being the actual shooter, with Collins standing outside the apartment. Jamison was believed to have been the getaway driver, but one of the two men was described as the actual driver. The other was described as having planned what may have been originally a robbery.

Edelen, a 21-year- old Wyoming ( Mich.) man who also went by Ray Nori, was playing video games in a Campus Habitat apartment in the 500 block of Edgewood Drive, when Norfleat is accused of bursting in, slinging a curse before firing a 9mm pistol.

While two other wit-nesses f led through a window, Edelen and Norfleat are believed to have wrestled over the gun, which ult imately discharged. Edelen was already dead when officers arrived. The two witnesses identified Collins, a 20-year- old Mt. Pleasant man, as someone standing nearby.

The red car used was connected to Jamison, a 20-year- old Chicago man. It was caught on a surveillance camera department the Deerfield Village apartments shortly before the shooting and returning shortly thereafter.

When police searched the apartment it was connected to, they discovered a 9mmpistol hidden in the ducts. Although the serial numbers were scratched out, it was identified as a gun stolen in Hamtramck.

The arraignment is not currently scheduled.
