BVL Penny-a Pin Fundraiser in November

The fundraisin­g method,

(at least locally), will be to ask league bowlers to donate a Penny-a-pin for their league session during the timeframe of Monday, Nov. 2 through Thursday, Nov. 12. Leagues and/or bowlers in those leagues will be able to pledge to donate the amount of their weeks’ league actual series to BVL. This charity is referred to as “Bowling’s Charity” since starting 75+ years ago during Worldwar II.

• Direct beneficiar­ies per year: Thousands of active duty and veteran men and women.

• Geographic areas served: The USA and overseas

• Programs: Sports, arts, and music to help engage our American heroes and provide opportunit­ies to get involved in experience­s that will brighten their days and speed recuperati­on.
