You do realize that underneath that ridiculous bleached blonde combover that Trump is essentially bald, right? Not that there’s anything intrinsically wrong with baldness. I’m just sayin’— ego much?
It’s Wednesday, Jan. 6, and I’m glued to my TV, watching hordes of Trumper yahoos, many of them armed, break into the Senate chamber, vandalizing desks and hanging off the balcony like rabid fruit bats.
This unprecedented craziness is banana republic garbage. What must other countries think? What do moral, clear-thinking Americans think? What do Americans who refuse to support a conartist, a sociopath, a sexual predator, a serial liar, a raging narcissist, a serial adulterer, a racist, a sexist, Putin’s “useful idiot,” a tax cheat, an inciter of violence, a man with no moral compass, a braggart and a bully, a man with no intellectual curiosity and no knowledge of culture or history — what do we think?
I know what I think. I think this buffoonish enemy of all that is good and decent and honorable in America, needs to have tiny little handcuffs clapped on his tiny little hands and then find himself shipped down to “Gitmo” to live out the last days of his miserable life among other enemies of America
elieve me, I’d much rather write about gliding in a canoe through the Canadian wilderness or landing an 18-inch rainbow on a Parmachene Belle than devote editorial space to the worst president in the history of our nation but today’s (expletive deleted) show in our nation’s capital shook me to the core beyond the power of Jameson to assuage.
There was no voter fraud, people. There was no “landslide victory” for Trump that was “stolen” by socialist-commie-pinko Democrats. This was a normal, secure presidential election like every other over the past 223 years. Biden won. Trump lost. Simple as that.
Everyone knows and understands this, everyone that is but Trump’s sizable cult of personality. That’s a hard nut to crack. How do you explain reality to people who have taken as gospel, four years of Trump’s lies no matter how egregious? Can they ever be made to understand how palpably evil and seriously unhinged their hero is?
I’m open to suggestions because we need to come together, move on as a nation and devote our resources to defeating COVID-19 and rescuing our faltering economy. Biden has a big hole to yank us out of.
By the way, I’m in Facebook “prison” for the next three days. I can view everything but can’t post or comment.. All I did was go to Herr Trump’s page and suggest if he really wanted to be remembered as a true and legendary strongman-dictator, he should buy himself a Glock and take a page from Hitler’s playbook. What?
Trump himself was kicked off both Facebook and Twitter today for continuing to lie about his loss to Joe Biden. He didn’t learn anything from today’s frightening and shameful attack on the Capitol, he was still pushing the same insane conspiracy theories that were responsible for today’s travesty.
So, what should be done with the armed terrorists who forcibly occupied our Capitol Wednesday? And they are terrorists, not protesters. Well, they should be thrown in jail, of course. They have violated at least six federal laws.
• 18 U.S.C. 2385. Seditious Conspiracy. If “two or more people… conspire … by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof,” penalties are fines and twenty years imprisonment.
• 18 U.S.C. 1361. Destruction of Government Property. If the damage exceeds $100, penalties are fines up to $250,000 and ten years imprisonment.
• 18 U.S.C. 111. Assaulting Federal Officers. Fines vary, 20 years imprisonment.
• 18 U.S.C. 351. Assault on Members of Congress. One year imprisonment.
• 41 CFR 102-74.380. Creating a Hazard on Federal Property. Penalties vary.
• 36 CFR 2.34 (and elsewhere). Disorderly Conduct. 90 days imprisonment, $300 fine.
Will any of these traitors, with their grinning unmasked faces be charged? We shall see. They were white so I doubt it.
