LANTZ, DOLORES JOANNE (KRZESZEWSKI)

Dolores Lantz, 91, of Lake Isabella, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021, at her home. A memorial Mass for Dolores will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 9, 2021, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with Father Thomas Held as celebrant. The family will receive friends in the gathering room of the church Thursday, one hour prior to Mass. A luncheon will follow immediately after, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Beal City. Memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. 91 years ago on July 27th, 1930, our beloved angel, Dolores Joanne Krzeszewski, was born here on Earth to her proud parents Walter and Helen (Bogacz) Krzeszewski in Detroit, Michigan. She was the sibling of Jean, Lottie, and Jerry. Following her graduation from Detroit Public Schools Dolores worked for the Chrysler Company and after a brief courtship she married Conrad Lantz in Detroit. During their marriage they had three adored children: Randy, Sandy, and Kathy. Although they divorced after 25 years, Dolores and Conrad remained friends. After relocating to Central Michigan in 1987, Dolores worked as a salesclerk at Robaire’s Bakery until 2001 to assist with caring for her loving granddaughter Kaylee full time. She enjoyed talking to all the customers who frequented Robaire’s and spoke fondly of all the friends she had made there. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her Niece Cindy, shopping with her daughter Kathy, baking, and watching her favorite hockey player #88 Michael “Moose” Klein. But most of all, she enjoyed any time she was able to spend with her family. Dolores was blessed to have met her newest great-granddaughter, the newest addition to the family mothered by her granddaughter Kristie. Dolores did so much for so many and never expected anything in return. She will be missed beyond comprehension by her family and friends, anyone that was fortunate enough to have met her. Dolores is survived by her children, Randy Lantz of Lake Isabella, and Kathy Klein of Weidman; grandchildren, Michelle Lantz of St. Clair Shores, Mathew Lantz of St. Clair Shores, Michael (Tiffany) Klein of Lake Isabella, Kristie Klein of Mt. Pleasant, and Kaylee Klein of Weidman; great-grandchildren, Robert, Madison, Michael David, Myia, and one on the way; and daughter in law, Carol Lantz of St. Clair Shores. She is preceded in death by both parents; son, Sandy Lantz; and siblings, Jean Hofbauer, Lottie Knopf and Jerry Krzeszewski.
