Blue July, bright July,

Month of storms and gorgeous blue;

Violet lightnings o’er thy sky, Heavy falls of drenching dew;

Summer crown! o’er glen and glade

Shrinking hyacinths in their shade;

I welcome thee with all thy pride,

I love thee like an Eastern bride. Blue July, bright July,

My wife and I have been watching the January 6 House Select Committee meetings. If you have missed any day’s hearing you can stream TV on Jan 6 Live Stream — Bing video. It is important to see first-hand that the 2020 election was not stolen, that Joe Biden is President and that those responsible for the Big Lie should be held accountable for this serious breach in how the losing party, here the Trumpublicans, debased the transition of presidents.

The bipartisan U.S. House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 attack on the United States Capitol consists of U.S. House of Representatives investigating the attack on the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. The attack, inspired by Donald Trump’s false claims of a stolen 2020 presidential election and many failed court cases, was the climax of attempts to overturn the election.

Donald Trump’s attempts to overturn the 2020 U.S. presidential election in part by telling many falsehoods about it instead of conceding defeat to Democrat Joe Biden. In midjune the committee declared it has enough evidence to indict Donnyt. The committee has argued that he knew he did not win the election and was perpetrating a fraud, that led to the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

The committee was formed on July 1, 2021. Liz Cheney and

Adam Kinzinger, who both voted in favor to impeach Donald Trump, were the only two House Republicans to serve on the committee. Both have been active and concise.

The Committee has interviewed more than a thousand witnesses, involving many Republicans including those close to the former President. A few, such as Peter Navarro and

Steve Bannon have resisted appearing and have been indicted by federal grand juries. Congress is holding Mark Meadows and Dan Scavino in criminal contempt. All played a part in attempting to overthrow the 2020 election.

Former Texas governor Rick Perry sent Meadows a proposed strategy for Republicancontrolled state legislatures to choose “electors” and send them to the Supreme Court before their states had determined voting results. Fox News host Sean Hannity exchanged text messages with Meadows suggesting that Hannity was aware in advance of Trump’s plans for January 6.

If you have time to stream only one hearing select that of Thursday, June 23. Three key Republican witnesses gave a scathing indictment of Trumps illegal efforts to reverse the election results. Former Acting U.S. Attorney General Jeffery Rosen, former Acting U.S. Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue, and former Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Council Steven Engel provided ample facts about activities before, on, and after January 6.These sincere, reputable Republicans outlined Trump’s many illegal efforts to overturn the results.

Trump tried to replace Rosen with an unqualified Jeffery Clark who claimed he would do Donnyt’s bidding. This fell completely apart leading to an FBI raid of Clark’s home as a crime scene. Republican Representative Adam Kinzinger said of the situation, Trump” to find someone who was willing to ignore facts. This is not the norm.”
