It’s branded as Music’s Biggest Night. And the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony is certainly aiming to live up to the title.

The show — airing at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, on CBS and live. GRAMMY.COM from Crypto. com Arena — will offer another showdown between Beyonce and Adele. It’s a “rematch” of the 2017 Grammys when Adele’s “25” was a controversial winner over Beyonce’s “Lemonade.” This year Beyonce leads all nominees with nine while Adele is up for seven Grammys. The two artists are facing off again in the Album category.

This year’s Grammys — hosted by Trevor Noah for a third year — will include six new categories, including Best Song for Social Change, while several other awards have been re-named.

Announced performers at the show so far include Lizzo, Harry Styles, Mary J. Blige, Sam Smith and Kim Petras, Luke Combs, Bad Bunny, Brandi Carlile and Steve Lacy. Lifetime Achievement Awards are being presented to Nirvana, Nile Rodgers, Heart’s Ann and Nancy Wilson, Bobby Mcferrin, Slick Rick and Ma Rainey. The Supremes will also receive a Lifetime Achievement Award, while Motown will also be represented by founder Berry Gordy Jr. and Smokey Robinson, who are sharing this year’s Musicares Person of the Year honor.

Also of local interest is a Best Melodic Rap Performance nomination for Randall “Kaine” Hammers of Farmington Hills for co-writing Latto’s hit “Big Energy.”

The pre-show Premiere Ceremony, when most of the Grammys are announced, will take place at 3:30 p.m. and stream via live.grammy.com and on the Recording Academy’s Youtube channel.
