Glen enjoyed music of all types, dancing, golfing, boating and working puzzles. He loved to visit and could talk for hours. He was happiest when he was cooking for friends and family. Glen farmed for many years, but his lifelong work was owning Maxfield’s Restaurant. He could still be seen daily at the family businesses in Edmore. He continued to be involved by running errands and helping wherever he could until he and Julie left for Florida at the end of December. Glen will forever be remembered for his firm, welcoming handshake and the best hugs ever for everyone that knew him. We will miss them so much but are blessed to have received enough to last a lifetime. By Glen’s request, no memorial is being planned at this time. Glen taught us to appreciate every day, so in return we intend to celebrate his life forever.
