DENNIS QUAID’S hush-hush wedding to Laura Savoie widened his rift with 28-year-old son Jack, who’s older than his new stepmom!
Sources told The National ENQUIRER the star, 66, didn’t even inform Jack when he eloped with fourth wife Laura, 27, on June 2, with only their pastor as a witness.
“Jack hardly ever speaks to his father. That’s been going on for years. They are no longer close,” tattled an insider.
According to the snitch, Jack’s snarky social media post — “Happy Father’s Day to all you stone-cold daddies out there … oh and fathers too” — was a jab at his dad for eloping.
Dennis, who didn’t respond to a request for comment, split from Jack’s mom, Meg Ryan, in 2001 — and the actor now has a $30 million fortune.
“Laura will pop out a baby in a year or so,” said a spy.
“She’ll be financially set for life.”
