NICK CANNON FUMES OVER HIS FIRING FOR RACIST RANT
DEMANDS APOLOGY FROM ‘WILD ‘N OUT’ TV BIG SHOTS
DUMPED “Wild ’N Out” host Nick Cannon is firing back at his former bosses, who axed him from the MTV show for making anti-Semitic comments on his podcast! Now he’s demanding an apology from his old bosses — after publicly admitting he was wrong for saying “the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth” about the Jewish community.
The former “America’s
Got Talent” host, 39, made the disturbing statements during the June 30 episode of “Cannon’s Class.”
The show featured Nick interviewing controversial rapper Richard “Professor Griff” Griffin, who was tossed out of Public Enemy for making anti-Semitic statements in 1989. During the show, Cannon said Black people are the “true Hebrews” and charged Jews have seized their identity. He also claimed white people were “savages” historically because they lacked the “compassion” that comes with melanin — skin pigmentation.
ViacomCBS canned Cannon nearly two weeks later. The company also rejected his accusations against them. Before issuing his complete apology, Mariah Carey’s exhusband rushed to Twitter to insist: “I do not condone hate speech nor the spread of hateful rhetoric.” Nick also released a blistering statement on Facebook accusing ViacomCBS of being on “the wrong side of history.”
He charged the company was making “an example of an outspoken Black man” and demanded “full ownership of the ‘Wild ’N Out’ brand” — with an apology!
