PERRY & LeBLANC TO FAT CAMP BEFORE ‘FRIENDS’ SPECIAL!
GOTTA LOOK LIKE OLD SELVES FOR REUNION
MAMMOTH Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc are being shipped off to “fat camp” by producers of the hotly anticipated “Friends” reunion special to get them back into shape for the show, sources dished.
“Both Matthews are way out of shape and need to take drastic measures if they have any hope of looking even remotely like their old selves in time for their fans!” an insider snitched.
As The National ENQUIRER reported last month, flabby Perry was smashing the scales at a whopping 287 pounds, while sources said LeBlanc is clocking in at a chunky 200!
Pals familiar with the facility the producers are said to have in mind told The ENQUIRER Perry, 50, and LeBlanc, 53, will be able to lose up to five pounds a week doing exercises, in addition to learning healthy life skills.
While LeBlanc’s rep denied our story, an insider tattled: “It’s a drastic situation that calls for extreme measures — and fat camp seems the only option since both these guys are struggling to show any kind of willpower by themselves.”
“They both need to slim down a lot to get camera-ready,” the source squealed.
“The powers that be want the two Matts to look pleasing to the viewers and closer to the way they looked on the show 16 years ago.” Sources said producers hoped the special — which will also feature “Friends” regulars Jennifer Aniston, 51, Courteney Cox, 56, Lisa Kudrow, 57, and David Schwimmer, 53 — might tape as soon as the end of August.
But insiders snitched the shooting date — which had already been delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic — could be pushed back as late as November to give the dumpy duo time to whittle their waists!
“Everyone’s willing to wait so the guys have plenty of time to get in shape — because no one wants to pour them into a pair of man Spanx!”
Perry did not respond to a request for comment.
