Allen is trapped in a new nightmare after a video surfaced of his adopted daughter Dylan Farrow, at age seven, making sexual assault allegations against him — and sources said the director fears the chilling recording could put him behind bars!
Revealed in the recently released documentary “Allen v. Farrow,” the clip — shot by Woody’s ex Mia Farrow in 1992 — shows Dylan claiming the moviemaker “touched her private parts,” and then saying, “I didn’t want him to do it, Mama,” and “I didn’t like it.”
The “Annie Hall” director has always vehemently denied all claims he was inappropriate with Dylan, now 35.
Woody has charged jilted Mia tried to poison Dylan and her other children against him after discovering his romantic relationship with another of her daughters — Soon-Yi Previn, his current wife. He also has claimed his spurned ex coached Dylan into making the shocking statements!
In 1992, authorities in Connecticut investigated the alleged abuse — but no criminal charges were ever filed against Woody. However, the disturbing allegations became the centerpiece of a bitter custody battle between the former partners — and a judge later rejected both Woody’s bid for custody of their three kids and the allegation of sexual abuse!
However, the judge did say Woody’s behavior toward Dylan was “grossly inappropriate and that measures must be taken to protect her.”
Now, with the new climate heralded by the #MeToo movement — and Dylan steadfastly sticking to her story — insiders said 85-yearold Woody, who did not respond to our request for comment, is worried the legal case could be reopened! A source explained: “Woody has seen what happened to Bill Cosby and other oncepowerful figures who have been sunk by old allegations. “He fears he too could end up at trial or even behind bars as an innocent man!”
But experts said prosecutors are unlikely to press charges against Woody — unless significant new evidence emerges!
