MOP-TOPS MAD AFTER MICK SNUBS DOLLY!

Paul & Ringo ride to Parton’s defense

-

BITCHY Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr are trashing Mick Jagger for brutally snubbing country legend Dolly Parton, insiders tell

The National ENQUIRER! Aging Paul and Ringo recorded the Fab Four’s classic anthem Let It Be with Dolly, 77, who has teamed up with a slew of music legends for an album of duets.

But one rocker who has remained stone cold to the concept is Rolling Stones frontman Mick, 80, much to Dolly’s disappointment!

And sources say the callous rejection has annoyed former mop-tops McCartney, 81, and Starr, 83, threatening to reignite their decades-long rivalry with the Jumpin’ Jack Flash lothario.

“Paul and Ringo think it’s pretty shabby of Mick to turn Dolly down — she’s a living legend who deserves way more respect,” spills an insider.

“She’s still beating herself up over the Mick snub, asking folks if they can put in

a word with him to change his mind. But they’ve told her he’s not worth it, that she should move on and accept that some douchebags are not going to change!”

As The ENQUIRER previously reported, the Jolene country icon went all out to land Jagger for her upcoming album.

“I wanted Mick Jagger so bad because my husband, Carl, loves him,” she dished in an interview. “But Mick wanted something new and different, which I don’t blame him for.”

The Beatles’ rivalry with the Stones was legendary in the 1960s and in the years after, with Paul doubling down by denouncing Mick’s band as

inferior.

“I’m not sure I should say it, it but they’re a blues cover band, ban that’s sort of what the Stones are. I think our net was cast a bit wider than theirs,” he ranted a few years back.

Tensions were said to have eased recently, with Jagger reportedly collaborating on a Beatles project.

But a mole predicts “It’s gonna make Mick mad as hell when he gets wind of this!”
