BATTERED BRITNEY'S SAD NIGHTMARE OF ADDICTION & ABUSE
The untold story behind divorce
TRAIN wreck Britney Spears’ explosive marriage to young hunk Sam Asghari has been shattered by a devastating mix of domestic violence and addiction, say insiders.
Mental health experts tell The National ENQUIRER the bipolar pop princess, 41, feels chronically starved for love, which has triggered bizarre sexy shenanigans and toxic relationships as she desperately searches for a strong man who can fix everything that is wrong in her life. “She’s trying to fill a void created when she was thrown into the spotlight as a child star,” says eminent psychologist Dr. Gilda Carle. “This has manifested itself in endless, embarrassing, sex-fueled episodes and poor choices of partners that inevitably end badly.”
Britney’s third marriage, to former fitness trainer and showbiz wannabe Sam, 29, fell apart after 14 months amid reports of physical abuse — on both sides!
“There is no question Britney suffered at Sam’s hands,” reveals a friend. “She often had to use her makeup skills to cover up the horrible effects of their blowouts.”
Incredibly, the 6-foot-2, 196-pound muscleman is accusing 5-foot-4, 123-pound Britney of battering HIM! Although Sam’s buddies insist he’d never raise a hand to his estranged bride, the dueling charges of physical abuse are now sure to be a particularly dirty highlight in ugly divorce hearings.
On Aug. 16, Asghari filed to end the troubled marriage. Insiders tattle he’s expected to use abuse allegations in an attempt to bust his prenup and grab a big chunk of the Toxic songbird’s $60 million fortune. “Britney has what she believes to be an ironclad prenup that makes Sam entitled to a little over $500,000,” notes a source. “He plans to contend she was physically abusive, so he’s entitled to some pain and suffering dough.
“But Britney says Sam physically attacked her repeatedly, to the point where her staff had to save her!”
One expert explains violence is a common trait in people suffering from Britney’s mental and emotional al issues.
“Irritability and aggression are symptoms of bipolar disorder, so it’s no surprise she may have injured Sam,” says Beverly Hills forensic psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman.
Britney’s unhinged behavior led to an oppressive 13-year involuntary conservatorship under her controlling dad, Jamie. When that was lifted in November 2021, her loony ways continued where they’d left off, often resulting in off-the-rails sexuality.
“They thought they were doing something good for her by placing her under the conservatorship,” says Dr. Gilda. “But they never gave her the tools she needed to make adult choices, leaving her substituting sexual gratification for any understanding of what a loving relationship should be.” In one instance, Britney reportedly carried on a steamy affair with a former male housekeeper who has a rap sheet, including one felony and multiple misdemeanors.
“This is exactly the kind of poor choice that people have come to expect from Britney, who is constantly looking for someone who will love and take care of her,” spills a source close to the aging pop tart. As ENQUIRER readers know, Britney also went on vacation with longtime manager and confidant
Cade Hudson — without her wedding ring — with Sam nowhere in sight!
More recently, she released cringeworthy social media posts featuring the scantily clad singer dancing around a stripper pole surrounded by sweaty men — including one barely dressed dude who licked her leg!
“She is either off her meds altogether or taking less than the recommended dose,” concludes Lieberman. “Hypersexuality and poor impulse control are symptoms of a manic phase
of bipolar disorder.”
Adding to her misery, Brit’s two sons, Sean, 18, and
Jayden, 17, chose to live with their dad, Kevin Federline, in Hawaii — and have broken off contact with the singer.
“The boys have publicly stated they’re humiliated by their mother’s behavior and want little to do with her,” says Dr. Gilda.
Both mental health experts — who have not treated Britney — believe she’s doomed to repeat her self-destructive ways if she doesn’t get help.
“Unless someone can persuade her to take her meds and go back into psychotherapy, she will continue to destroy her world,” predicts Dr. Lieberman.
Still, Britney apparently believes divorce will solve her problems.
“Britney says she suffered both physically and emotionally at Sam’s hand,” confides the friend. “Now, all she wants to do is start a new life, make new music, find a new man — and forget Sam was ever in her life!”
