Sources say the model turned actress, 31, was in
London to perform in a revival of Cabaret when an electrical issue sparked the blaze.
But she still gamely took the stage after hearing the heartbreaking news.
“There’s a big worry the stress of this could push her back to her self-destructive behaviors,” confides the insider.
As The National ENQUIRER reported in August 2022, the disheveled party girl was spotted chainsmoking and changing her clothes in public.
The very next month, the sunken-eyed Brit was stumbling around the
Van Nuys airport with no shoes and filthy socks!
Shortly afterward, the runway regular checked herself into rehab to address her substance abuse and mental health.
“She’s been doing really well, but there’s no denying this sort of stress can be a huge trigger for a relapse,” notes the spy, who says those closest to Cara are urging her to get psychological help — before it’s too late!
“She’s been crying so much. Her loved ones are doing all they can to make sure she stays on the straight and narrow.”
