SORE loser Lizzo has pitched a hissy fit — and announced she’s ditching showbiz — after being sued by backup dancers who scandalously claim they were body-shamed and sexually harassed by the R&B heavyweight, sources dish. An insider says despite the plus-size poster girl’s thick appearance, “Lizzo is very thin-skinned! She’s smarting from all the sniping she’s gotten on social media — especially because she feels she doesn’t deserve it!”
The Truth Hurts singer has long received plenty of hate for her hefty figure — but also ate up accolades as a 350-pound model of body positivity. However, hoofers say she’s a hypocrite who scolded them for being fat after dropping 40 pounds herself!
Three dancers have accused Lizzo of creating a hostile work environment — and a former costume designer is also hauling the hitmaker to court for wrongful termination by alleging she allowed bullying, harassment and racial discrimination on her team!
Now, the chubby charttopper, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, has whined online, “I’m getting tired of putting up with being dragged by everyone in my life and on the internet.
“I’m constantly up against lies being told about me for clout and views, being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look … my character being picked apart by people who don’t know me and disrespecting my name. “I didn’t sign up for this sh*t. I quit.” The grumbling Grammy winner maintains she’s innocent of every allegation. But some sources accuse the pigheaded performer of being too stubborn to apologize and think she believes the only way out is to retreat from the spotlight!
The insider squeals, “Lizzo feels hounded right now, and it makes her want to go away and stop all the noise.” However, the spy adds the Juice songbird is simply feeling squeezed and will eventually bounce back. The mole explains, “She wants to see these lawsuits through. She still insists they don’t have any merit. Yes, her decision to say she’s quitting the music business was rash, but truth is she needed a time-out anyway. Give her time — you haven’t seen the last of her!”
