WEARY Wynonna Judd’s troubled daughter Grace Kelley got a big dose of tough love after her recent prostitution bust when the country queen refused to pay her lawyer or paltry $2,500 bail!
Family sources say Wynonna was content to leave the 27-year-old bad girl rotting in jail for nearly three WEEKS in a move they say has left Grace convinced her mom is trying to steal her two-year-old daughter, Kaliyah!
The second of Wynonna’s two kids with ex-husband Arch Kelley III was busted April 5 in Elmore County, Ala., after shocked cops say they found Grace exposing her breasts and nether regions at a busy highway intersection while holding a neon green sign saying, “Ride 4 a Ride.” She was booked on charges of indecent exposure, soliciting prostitution, and obstructing government operations for refusing to give her name. 59, threw an over-the-top rodeo theme party for her granddaughter’s April 13 birthday, splashing photos of the bash on Instagram and writing, “Had the best time celebrating my girl’s 2nd birthday over the weekend with the best friends, family & support system we could ask for!”
A Judd family friend tells The National ENQUIRER Wynonna was sending a message to her troubled daughter, who has served six stints in stir over the past seven years.
“She wanted to show Grace that by continuing to live a reckless and dangerous life,
she’s missing out on the greatest moments of being a mother to a sweet young daughter,” spills the source. “She needs to pull herself together!”
Grace’s public defender managed to get the prostitution charge dismissed and the indecent exposure charge downgraded to lewd conduct.
Still, Grace was sentenced to 60 days behind bars on the obstruction charge and will remain there until June 4, while also owing $1,122 in fines and court costs. Sources dish Grace, whose rap sheet includes numerous drug-related arrests and probation violations, believes her mom has an ulterior motive. “Grace believes Wynonna is laying the groundwork to gain legal custody of Kaliyah and plans to fight her tooth and nail!” dishes an insider.
