Claims Venus & Serena turning blind eye to shocking abuse
DEMENTIA-addled tennis dad Richard Williams has suffered from elder abuse served up by his estranged wife Lakeisha Graham — and his famous daughters Venus and Serena have done nothing to stop it, sources claim.
The explosive charges were exposed in a bankruptcy case involving former stripper Lakeisha's plans to sell the court queens’ childhood home. “Richard is in no position to take care of his own affairs any longer,” says an insider. “You have to wonder how Venus and Serena have allowed him to be taken advantage of like this!”
Lakeisha saw her bid for bankruptcy shot down by a Florida judge, forcing her to sell the court legends’ childhood home as questions swirl about the validity of their 82-yearold father’s signature on the deed!
Now, the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., house Richard purchased for $355,000 in 1995 is being put up for sale to cover Lakeisha’s debt, reported to be in excess of $600,000. Lakeisha has admitted to falsifying his signature on the title deeds to transfer ownership and secure a $279,000 loan, which she squandered on a failed trucking venture and “frivolities.”
“And that’s not the first time she dipped into Richard’s pockets to bail herself out,” fumes the insider.
Court documents in divorce proceedings initiated by Richard in 2017 revealed a string of claims against Lakeisha.
In fact, she’s admitted also forging Richard’s signature so she could sell his prized 1999 Bluebird Wanderlodge Motor Coach, valued at $45,000.
“I was broke and my husband did not help me,” Lakeisha groused, claiming she was not getting financial support from Richard for herself or their eight-yearson, Dylan. He denied her claims.
While neither Venus nor Serena have spoken publicly about their father’s contentious divorce, another one of his nine children, son Chavoita LeSane, has claimed Lakeisha forged additional documents and stole Social Security checks and more from his diminished dad.
Love child Chavoita has threatened to file an elder abuse lawsuit against Lakeisha, but it has yet to materialize.
“We’re just putting all of it together,” he says. “It’s a lot. This whole situation has been frustrating.”
Whether tennis greats Venus and Serena take a more active role in their dad’s case remains to be seen.
“They are among the richest and most powerful women in the history of sports,” notes the insider. “They should never have allowed their father to get in this situation in the first place.”
