COLETTE LEMMON
Colette Lemmon is a museum professional based in upstate New York. Currently she holds a position as the Curator of Exhibitions at the Iroquois Indian Museum. Independent projects have included writing and consulting for the New York State Museum, Museum of Contemporary Native Arts; Seneca-iroquois National Museum; Ottawa Art Gallery; and other facilities. Originally in the field of archaeology, a chance encounter with an Oneida carver launched her in a new direction. She has worked with contemporary Haudenosaunee art and artists for more than two decades.
