“My work mainly comes from tradition, but looking at it in more of a contemporary way. What I like to say about my work is it is very sculptural. If they were large monuments you’d be able to walk through them, inside and out, and see where all the surprises are hidden. I also always look at my work as a way of sharing with others, and a way of healing myself as well.”
