“My inspiration to create pottery derived from observing my sisters. Mimbres designs became a passion of mine. As I perfect my craft, I became fascinated with threedimensional figures. The wings of the butterfly could now be felt or the body of a ladybug. Throughout the years I have utilized nature’s resources to construct my patterns. It is nature that supplies me with clay and colored sands to brighten my pottery, giving each masterpiece character, beauty and uniqueness of its own.”
