On Friday, Aug. 10, Elmore Indian Art presents a fine selection of art ceramics by highly respected Hopi/tewa artist and potter, Nampeyo (1856-1942), showcasing some of Nampeyo's most accomplish­ed pieces, establishi­ng her as one of the great modern artists. This exhibition celebrates the artist's achievemen­ts over seven decades during which she made thousands of pottery pieces for the American art market.
