Welcome to the April/may issue of Native American Art! This issue has our special fashion section, where we explore the work of Native American and First Nations fashion designers. Within the section you will find our coverage of SWAIA Native Fashion Week, taking place May 2 to 5 in Santa Fe. Native American Art is the official magazine of the Santa Fe Indian Market every August. With SWAIA launching their inaugural fashion week, we are here to support the artists and designers in May as well. Native American Art will be hosting a VIP launch party on Friday, May 3, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. at La Fonda on the Plaza in Santa Fe. Tickets will be available on our website and subscribers will receive a personal email invite. It is a red carpet event and guests will meet the designers, mingle with fashion experts and possibly see a celebrity or two. We will have live models, a DJ, appetizers, cocktails and other surprises. It will be a high-fashion night to kick off the week. We hope to see you there!
