The National Council of Negro Women New Haven Section is offering a trip to New York and Atlantic City Oct. 27-28.

Trip includes visits to the Ground Zero Memorial, midtown Manhattan, Harlem, Schomburg Center, a night stay in Atlantic City, casinos, outlet mall andmore.

Cost is $250 and includes transportation and hotel; $75 is due ASAP with balance due by Oct. 6. Departs at 7 a.m. from the Stetson Library parking lot on Dixwell Avenue, and returns at 7 p.m.

Board the bus to Foxwoods

The West Haven Senior Center is offering a trip to Foxwoods Resort Casino Nov. 27 to see the Legends Concert, a 90-minute show featuring the music of Elvis, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, David Bowie, George Michael and The Blues Brothers.

Tickets cost $25 per person for casino only; or $52 for casino and the Legends show. Trip includes a bonus for everyone on the bus, a free buffet meal or $10 food voucher and $10 slot play. Payment due by Nov. 2.
