SOBALA, STANLEY

Stanley “Stash” Sobala age 92, of West Haven passed away on September 8, 2018. For 60 years, he was the loving husband of Odile Missioux Sobala. Stanley was born in Poland, son of the late Adam and Mariana Sobala. Loving father of Sylvania Sobala and Isabelle Sobala both of West Haven and Linda (Roderick) McLane of North Haven, devoted grandfather of Rachael Spisak of MA and Marissa Spisak of Hamden. He is also survived by numerous family members in Poland and France. Stanley served as a paratrooper for the Polish Army during WWII. He worked for over 30 years at Blakeslee Arpaia Chapman Inc. as a foreman, prior to his retirement. The family would like to thank the CNAs and staff at Regal Care, West Haven for all their care and support.
