STANLAKE, VIRGINIA

Virginia Stanlake of Branford died Wednesday September 12, 2018 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Leo J. Stanlake. She was born July 25, 1940 in East Hartford, daughter of the late Bernard and Theresa Linsay. She worked as a supply clerk for the VAMC in Newington and West Haven. Besides her husband she is survived by her daughter Theresa Rossomangno of Belmont, NH and three grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Anthony Rossomangno.

Funeral from the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford, Tuesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Church at 10:00.
