STUDENT ACHIEVEMENTS
* The John F. Smyth Memorial Scholarships were recently presented by the John Smyth family and the Knights of St. Patrick's in New Haven. This year two $1,000 scholarships were awarded. From left are Kieri Mulligan, who accepted the scholarship on behalf of her sister, Caitlin Mulligan, a student at Coastal Carolina University; John LaFrance, grandson of John Smyth, who presented the awards; and Connor Faughnan, who recently graduated from Notre Dame High School and is attending the College of Holy Cross.
* The following students received scholarships from Gateway Community College’s scholarship fund this year. To date, 562 Gateway students received 691 scholarships, totaling $292,136.
