CHESHIRE - Elizabeth “Liz” Clark, 73, passed away on Monday, March 1, 2021, at the Cheshire House in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Douglas Clark. Liz was born April 30, 1947, in New Haven, the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth McLoughlin. She was an Underwrite­r for Nationwide Insurance for many years and upon her retirement, she worked with her husband at D&D Heating and Air Conditioni­ng. She was a communican­t of St. Bridget of Sweden Parish and was a member of the Irish - American Community Center in East Haven.

Liz is survived by her daughter Kelly Cienki (Stosh) of Cheshire; her brother Bernard McLoughlin; her brother-in-law Roger Vesper; her sisters-in-law Judy McCabe and Carolyn Clark; her grandchild­ren Frank, Michael, Noah, Luke and Caitlin Cienki; as well as many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own children. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predecease­d by her sons Ernest, Stephen, and Richard; her brothers-in-law Roger Clark and Everett McCabe; and her sisters-in-law Cheryl Vesper and Deborah Mcloughlin.

Arrangemen­ts – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 with her funeral procession leaving the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. at 9:30 a.m. and proceeding to St. Bridget of Sweden Parish-St. Bridget Church, 175 Main St., for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held at the convenienc­e of the family in St. Bridget Cemetery. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for church.
