Upcoming changes for March and April

Masks and social distancing still required

Mask requiremen­ts, social distancing and other COVID-19 safety measures, including increased disinfecti­ng efforts, will continue.

Houses of worship

Houses of worship can allow 100 percent capacity on March 19, but masks and social distancing will still be required.

Private gatherings

Gatherings at private residences can host 25 people inside and 100 outside starting March 19.

Bars remain closed

Bars that do not serve food will remain closed after March 19. State officials said this impacts 300 to 400 establishm­ents.

Amusement parks

Outdoor amusement parks can open for the season starting on April 2.

Restaurant­s and businesses at full capacity

Restaurant­s and most businesses will be allowed to operate at 100 percent capacity on March 19 with masks and social distancing still in place.

Party event venues

Commercial venues, like wedding halls, can host 100 guests indoors and 200 people outside starting March 19.

Indoor theaters

Indoor theaters are still required to limit occupancy to 50 percent of capacity after March 19.

Arenas and stadiums

Starting April 2, outdoor stadiums can open at 50 percent capacity, but will be capped at 10,000 people. Indoor arenas can open at 10 percent capacity.

Travel advisory

Travel restrictio­ns will serve as guidance and will no longer be requiremen­ts. State officials still urge residents to quarantine when returning home.
