You have the power to soar like an eagle

-

Remember, God is greater than the mountains you are climbing, the burdens you’re carrying or the giants you have faced in your life.

The Andean condor is the world’s largest soaring bird by combined measurement of weight and wingspan. Found in mountainous regions and adjacent Pacific coasts of western South America, the Andean condor, with an enormous 10-foot wingspan, can soar for up to five hours.

Once aloft, these longlived birds can cover up to 100 miles, soaring, without flapping their wings once.

In life, it is the wind of the spirit of God that can give us power to soar.

“But those who wait for the Lord will receive new strength. They will lift up their wings and soar like eagles. They will run and not become weary. They will walk and not become tired.” (Isaiah 40:31)

God can take a hopeless situation and do remarkable things if we obey, trust and believe. God will always bring about a greater good, when we have unwavering faith in Him and His sovereign plan, leading us in the right direction.

In the Bible, I read about the life of Joseph, which tells that the path to victory is not easy. The book of Genesis conveys the many trials Joseph endured. His brothers conspired against him, cast him into a pit, and then sold him for 20 pieces of silver to slave traders.

And, subsequently, while a servant, false accusations resulted in Joseph’s imprisonment.

But God was always with him. And through his courage, fine character and reliance on God, Joseph surrendered himself to the Lord’s mighty hand. Joseph knew God had a plan for his life, thus he persisted with faith and confidence and went on to become viceroy over all of Egypt.

Everyone goes through difficulties. But the key words here are “go through.”

You may go through adversity; nevertheless your time of trouble shall pass. The tide will change, and you will prevail over tough situations.

Remember, God is greater than the mountains you are climbing, the burdens you’re carrying or the giants you have faced in your life.

Here is a little poem that a dear reader sent to me that I liked:

“Your sorrows may linger, throughout the night, but suddenly vanish, by dawn’s early light .... ” Maybe you are undergoing a challenging circumstance, experiencing an unforeseen problem or are being unfairly treated. And perhaps you are asking yourself, How can I achieve my dreams now?

“Then, you could be declaring, I’ll never overcome that obstacle, I don’t have the ability or I have waited so long already.

We all struggle with areas of weakness, yet be assured when we follow God’s plan He will give us the ability or means we lack to perform His will.

Scripture says, “The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalms 27:1).

There’s no limit to where God wants to take you.

And He has placed within you and within your path, all of the resources you need to bring His plan to completion.

Don’t hold back and wait for conditions to be perfect. Pursue that dream today. Set high standards. Search for possibilities. Maintain an optimistic attitude. Sharpen your skills. Try another avenue.

Seize that opportunity. Be persistent, with your head held high and heart humbled. Consider, though, that God’s timing may not coincide with your timing. Still … His timing is always best.

Be prepared, even though your dream may be delayed. For the day will come when God opens the door and you will need to be ready to walk through it.

God’s unlimited supply can come in the most unexpected ways to meet your needs. In a moment, you can go from a seemingly failure to great success, from sickness to complete health, from shortage to abundance.

Trust God, praise Him and take the initiative. He will be with you as you take that first step. And keep walking with Him, regardless of what you may encounter. A reader wrote via email, “Our God never fails to show us the way.”

In any endeavor there will be problems and setbacks. Possibly, you will encounter naysayers who unjustly criticize you, and now and then you may come across those who deliberately put obstacles in your way and try to tear you down.

But let me ask you, Are you going to let cynics or unjust situations stop you from becoming all that God intended for you to be?

God will by no means allow His plans for us to be sabotaged by unfair obstructions, someone else’s negativity, resentment or poor actions. So, let us be at peace and carry on in faith.

Let’s concentrate our thoughts positively in the proper channels: on the joy of this day, on our family, upon the good we aspire to do for others, and the ideas we desire to execute. We must radiate what we would like to attract. Our thoughts are powerful creative forces, and when positively directed, they are ready to accomplish their purpose.

God is grooming you for special work and is leading you to greater blessings and achievements. No matter where you are, who you are or what has happened in the past, never lose hold of your dreams.

Like the Andean condor, you have the power to soar to success, joy and achievement. Take God’s hand, and one day you will stand in wonder to see what a stunning victory He has made of your life, as He did with Joseph.
