VITA TAX HELP: Quinnipiac University’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program will offer free income tax preparation services to taxpayers with annual household incomes of $57,000 or less. Envelopes containing information about the program and what forms are needed for tax preparation are available to residents at the Keefe Community Center, 11 Pine St., Hamden. The envelopes can be returned to a lock box at the Keefe Center for pickup. Quinnipiac's VITA program is part of the United Way of Greater New Haven's

If there are any questions, call the center at 203 877-5131. The consignment shop is reopening April 1 with shopping by appointment.

Hosted by Virginia Bressano, this event will feature the use of essential oils in meditation. Participants will be shipped a special blend of oils specifically created for this event. NARCAN TRAINING: The Hamden Public Library and the Quinnipiack Valley Health District are raising awareness about the opioid crisis. Naloxone, also known as Narcan. Training will be provided on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. March 17 and April 28. Free Narcan kits will be available to anyone interested.
