Easter flower sale runs April 2-4

NORTH BRANFORD — Northford Congregati­onal Church, 4 Old Post Road, North Branford, will have an Easter weekend flower/plant sale to benefit the church, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 2-3, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April 4. The Easter Bunny will be helping.

Masks and social distancing will be required for everyone's safety. In the event of inclement weather, the flowers and plants will be sold inside the church social hall, downstairs.

Church providing Lent audio readings

SEYMOUR — Great Hill United Methodist Church will have an audio reading every Wednesday during Lent.

People can park in the church parking lot, tune in to a specified radio channel and listen to a devotional reading, which will be less than ten minutes and will be available all day. The church is located at the intersecti­on of Rts. 188 and 334, Seymour. For informatio­n, call 203888-9425.

HAMDEN — In fall 2021, Temple Beth Sholom, 1809 Whitney Avenue, will celebrate its 75th Anniversar­y. Programmin­g includes Friday Night Shabbat services to recognize congregant­s who joined during each decade, a special recognitio­n of past Temple presidents, and much more.
