Saint Ann’s announces Holy Week schedule

OLD LYME — Saint Ann’s Holy Week and Easter at Saint Ann’s, Old Lyme

Following guidelines from our bishop and safest practices during a pandemic, the church will maintain social distances and require masks. To make room for everyone who wishes to attend in person on Easter Day, the church will hold one Easter service on the front lawn at 9:30 a.m. Bring a chair and prayer book.

8:30 a.m. The recorded service will be available at that time as well. All Zoom link informatio­n is also available on the website.

March 28, Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday: Recorded service with blessed palms available, to be picked up at the church after 9:30 a.m. on Palm Sunday.

March 30: Morning Prayer, 10 a.m. on Zoom

March 31: Creation Care service, 3 p.m. in the Memorial Garden; 7 p.m., Tenebrae Service on Zoom.

April 1, Maundy Thursday Service, Liturgy with spiritual communion and music, stripping of the altar, and procession to the Garden, recorded service.

April 2, Good Friday, Liturgy with hymns, sermons, Veneration of the Cross, recorded service

Stations of the Cross in-person in the Memorial Garden, 3 p.m.

April 3, Holy Saturday, 5 p.m. A simple meditative service inperson in the Memorial Garden at 5 p.m.

April 4, Sunday of the Resurrecti­on: Easter Sunday, 9:30 a.m. (see above) on the front lawn.

Shoreline Unitarian plans Easter services

MADISON — Easter Sunday, April 4, Shoreline Unitarian Universali­st Society is holding two services on Easter Sunday:

SEYMOUR — Great Hill United Methodist Church will hold an Easter Sunday Service at 8 a.m., outdoors with prayers, a short message, and a blessing. Masks and social distancing will be required.

Church holding flower, plant sale

Church, 4 Old Post Road, North Branford, will have an Easter weekend flower/plant sale to benefit the church, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

April 2-3, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. April

4. The Easter Bunny will be helping.

Masks and social distancing will be required for everyone's safety. In the event of inclement weather, the flowers and plants will be sold inside the church social hall, downstairs.

Church providing Lent audio readings

SEYMOUR — Great Hill United Methodist Church will have an audio reading every Wednesday during Lent.
