Mark H. Pearson October 5, 2021

-

It is with deep sadness the family of Mark Howard Pearson announces his passing. Mark courageously fought a two-year battle with cancer before succumbing on October 5, 2021 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Mark was born on October 28, 1955 in Bethesda, Maryland to Howard and Anne (Livingston) Pearson. After he graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law, he married the love of his life Julieanne Febbraio in 1983.

Outside his law practice, Mark enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, including the New York Times crossword puzzles and walks with his faithful dog Karma. He loved spending time pruning his extensive bonsai tree collection, practicing his ukulele and being in nature. Mark went on many trips to the Allagash in Maine with his family. He was happiest in his backyard with loved ones and a roaring fire.

Mark leaves his friends and family with a legacy of loving kindness. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word who had a kind word for everyone. He never failed to help friends in need, including a good deal of pro-bono work for the boys in Bethany.

Mark leaves behind his loving wife of 38 years

Julieanne; his children Andrew, Alex (Danielle), Katy (Anthony) and Sarah (Matt); his grandchildren Jules, Jack, Madelyn and newborn Riley; his mother Anne; siblings Stephen (Marylou), David (Paloma), Leslie, Douglas (Cindy), and Jennifer; numerous nieces and nephews as well as his friend, confidant and legal assistant Elena.

The family would like to acknowledge the love and support Gina, Jennifer and Nancy provided to Mark during his illness.

Family will be available to receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, October

16, 2021 at the Celentano Funeral Home, 424 Elm St., New Haven CT. A service will follow at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to the American Cancer Society. To leave a condolence, please visit www.celentanofuneralhome.com.
