Northford Congregational invites all to services

NORTHFORD — In December, Northford Congregational Church welcomes everyone to join in services each Sunday at 10 a.m. Anyone who is unvaccinated is required to wear a mask while all fully vaccinated people have the option of whether to wear a mask or not.

The Christmas Eve service will be held at 4 p.m. Dec. 24, with guest pastor Kristie Rubendunst and will include lessons and carols.

Northford Congregational Church is located at 4 Old Post Road at the corner of Route 22 and Route 17 in the Northford village in North Branford. OLD LYME — Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church, 82 Shore Road, Old Lyme, announces its Christmas service schedule. All are welcome; free parking is in the church lot and campus.

Dec. 24: 4 p.m., Family Eucharist with younger members of the community telling the story of Jesus’ birth, with readings and hymn singing.

10 p.m. Festival Eucharist with Choir and Strings service, with readings, organ, string and choral music and a sermon.

Dec. 25: , 9:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist with organ music, hymns and sermon.

Dec. 26: 9:30 a.m., Christmas Lessons & Carols service, telling the Christmas story through Bible readings and hymns.

Church invites singers to join choir

NORTHFORD — Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1382 Middletown Avenue, Northford, invites residents to join its choir and worship through the gift of music. The choir sings for Sunday services at 10 a.m. Advent services will be held each Sunday until Christmas.

Coffee and fellowship follow each service.

Dec. 24: Christmas Eve service starting with caroling at 3:45 p.m., Holy Eucharist at 4 p.m.

Dec. 25: No services will be held on Christmas Day.
