Alice Connors
Alice M. Connors, 81, previously from Ocala, Florida beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022. Alice was born on December 20, 1940 in Soldier Pond, Maine.
She was the daughter of the late Gordon & Doris Michaud. She grew up on a farm, picking potatoes with her siblings. Alice moved to Connecticut in 1956 and she graduated from Milford High School in 1958.
She married and had four children. Alice was the country’s first female Cub Master in 1972. She was also very active in Girl Scouts and served as a leader for many summers at Camp Katoya. She was very active in PTA and as a room parent for Pumpkin Delight
& St. Gabriel’s Elementary Schools. Alice was an avid UCONN Women’s basketball fan. She was a eucharistic minister at St. Gabriel’s parish where she also served on the church board. During her years in Florida, she was very active in her community. She was on the Council of Catholic Women, Women of the World, and Red Hat Ladies. Alice enjoyed her years in Florida and we are thankful that she had so many wonderful friends and neighbors. She loved hosting parties, playing dominoes and performing in talent & fashion shows at Top of the World Community. She loved traveling, especially cruising.
Alice is survived by her four loving children: John F. Connors (Debbie), Michael Connors (Beth), Timothy Connors (Amy), and Alyce Borgersen (Roger). She was a doting grandmother to Kelsey Connors, Matthew Connors, Kyle Connors (Melissa), Bridgit Connors, Cara Connors, Erik Borgersen, and John Borgersen.
Alice was also so proud of her great grandson Callum Connors. Her family will miss the love and boundless energy that she had.
Alice was predeceased by her adoring husband John F Connors Sr. of forty- four years. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter Casey Connors, siblings Barbara Bird, Fred Michaud, John Michaud, and Katherine DiGiacomo, brother inlaw James Connors Jr, and other beloved nieces and nephews.
The family is being compassionately cared for by the staff at Cody-White Funeral Home 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Gabriel Church (St. Raphael Parish), 26 Broadway, Milford, CT. (MEET DIRECTLY AT THE CHURCH). Interment will follow at
