HAMDEN — Congregati­on Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, invites people in-person or online for Friday night Shabbat services at 6 p.m., led by Rabbi Brian Immerman and Cantor Arthur Giglio.

Rabbi Immerman leads Shabbat morning Torah study at 9 a.m. on Zoom.

For indoor services and events mask wearing and social distancing are optional.

April 16, 5 p.m.: On the second night of Passover, Rabbi Immerman and Cantor Giglio will lead a family-friendly seder, with singing, games and more. We will conduct the full seder until the dinner, at which point people will leave to have their meals at home. Please RSVP at cmihamden.org.

Church holding flower, plant sale

NORTH BRANFORD — Northford Congregati­onal Church, 4 Old Post Road, corner of Routes 22 and 17 in the Northford village, will have an Easter weekend flower and plant sale to benefit the church, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. April 15-16, and 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

April 17. The Easter Bunny will be helping. In the event of inclement weather, the flowers and plants will be sold inside the church social hall downstairs.
