Connecticut residents hit the lottery

Many Connecticut Lottery players this month hit the jackpot with large prizes.

The largest prize of the month was a $123.9 million Powerball ticket claimed by a Cheshire resident. The largest prize handed out by the Connecticut Lottery is $254.2 million, roughly twice the amount of this prize.

Additionally in March, one Norwalk resident won $25,000 a year for life while one Stratford resident claimed a prize of $4 million.
